BÖSL Lympha-mat® 300N

Advanced pneumatic compression therapy for lymphedema management, helping support at-home lymphedema treatment and self-care.

BOSL Lympha-mat® 300N Compression Pump

The BOSL Lympha-mat® 300N provides intermittent pneumatic compression therapy designed to support the management of lymphedema and other edema-related conditions.

Used alongside Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and manual lymphatic drainage, pneumatic compression therapy has become an important component of modern edema management.

The system utilizes a unique 12-chamber gradient compression design. Specially engineered garments contain overlapping air chambers that sequentially inflate and deflate to create a controlled pressure gradient. This graduated compression helps encourage the movement of fluid away from the affected area while supporting natural lymphatic and venous flow.

By promoting fluid movement and reducing congestion within the tissues, compression therapy may help improve comfort, reduce swelling, and support overall limb health.

  • What is a lymphedema compression pump?

A lymphedema compression pump is a medical device that uses inflatable chambers to apply controlled pressure to an affected limb. The therapy helps support the movement of fluid and is often used as part of a comprehensive lymphedema treatment plan.

How does pneumatic compression therapy work?

Pneumatic compression therapy uses specially designed garments containing multiple air chambers. These chambers inflate and deflate in sequence to create a gentle gradient pressure that helps support lymphatic and venous flow. Compression therapy is commonly used alongside compression garments, exercise, skin care, and manual lymphatic drainage.

Who may benefit from a BOSL compression pump?

A BOSL compression pump may be appropriate for individuals with lymphedema, lipedema, venous edema, post-traumatic edema, or other chronic swelling conditions. A healthcare professional can help determine whether pneumatic compression therapy is appropriate for your specific needs.

Are compression pumps covered by funding programs in Ontario?

Funding may be available for eligible individuals with primary lymphedema through Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP). Eligibility and approval requirements apply, and the process involves assessment and documentation by specialized healthcare professionals.

Many private insurance plans may also provide coverage for compression pumps.

Contact Custom Comfort to discuss available funding options, insurance coverage, and the steps involved in obtaining a compression pump.
